Science Rendezvous 2017

Various locations: Chemistry-Physics building, Science building and Engineering building

This is an all-ages and free public event, will allow participants to do fun and safe hands-on science activities.

Visitors will get to watch a chemistry magic show, explore a travelling touch tank, discover glow-in-the-dark crystals, take part in interactive physics demos, and much more.

Activities will take place in the Science building, the Chemistry-Physics building and the Engineering building from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants include departments in the faculties of Science and Engineering and Applied Science, as well as Let’s Talk Science and Bricks 4 Kidz.

Science Rendezvous is the kick off Science Odyssey, 10-days of discovery and innovation taking place across Canada. It strives to highlight the nation’s best and most innovative research while improving student enrolment and public involvement in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
