Memorial seeks feedback on revised Intellectual Property Policy

Memorial is seeking feedback on a proposed new Intellectual Property (IP) Policy.

The review is led by the Office of the Vice-President (Research) and stems from feedback received during consultations on Memorial’s Technology Transfer and Commercialization Strategy in 2015.

During those consultations, there were repeated calls for Memorial to adopt a “creator-owned” IP policy model.

The draft policy, as well as procedures, supporting documents and frequently asked questions, are available online.

Input from within Memorial and from the broader community is welcome. The draft documents will be available for review and feedback until Friday, April 7, at 5 p.m. Feedback may be sent via e-mail: vprfeedback@mun.ca
