Changes to the Atlantic Innovation Fund

Memorial researchers wishing to apply for the Atlantic Innovation Fund (AIF) should contact Research Grant and Contract Services (RGCS) prior to drafting a proposal.

The fund, which is made available by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), has recently undergone changes and interested researchers may now apply at any time.

The changes reflect a more streamlined approach with year-round intake, designed to improve funding flexibility and improve access for smaller scale projects.

RGCS serves as the primary point of contact in the AIF application process. Researchers are asked to make their intentions to apply known to RCGS well in advance through a Project Concept Template (PCT), which should be drafted prior to beginning the AIF application process. For more information on RGCS, go to http://www.mun.ca/research/about/rgcs/
