Call for content: Journal of Ocean Technology summer 2022 issue

The summer 2022 issue of the Journal of Ocean Technology (JOT) will focus on marine archeology.

In this issue, the journal will look at technologies to discover and research marine archeology; advances in technology (e.g., sonar, etc.) to find artefacts (e.g., historic structures, sunken aircraft and shipwrecks, cultural resources); specialized equipment (such as sediment removal); recording technologies (e.g., photo and video cameras); communications; remote-sensing surveys; etc.

The focus will be on the technology used rather than the artefacts discovered.

The journal’s editorial team is inviting the submission of technical papers, essays, and short articles for this issue.

    • After Feb. 18, the JOT team will meet to review all submitted expressions of interest (EOI) and prepare a content outline. Should your EOI be accepted, the deadline for submission of materials is April 22.
