Celebrating Research 2026
The Centre for Newfoundland Studies (CNS) in the Queen Elizabeth II Library has a mandate to collect and provide access to material relating to Newfoundland and Labrador. From books to musical recordings and everything in-between, the CNS celebrates and preserves contributions to Newfoundland and Labrador scholarship for future generations.
But did you know that CNS collects books authored or edited by Memorial University faculty and staff that have nothing to do with our province?
The CNS is planning an event that recognizes recent book publications or other creative works (not including journal articles) by the Memorial community.

Please contact CNS head Colleen Field if you are eligible and interested in participating and attending. Please note, the submission of journal articles and other materials can be made to the Research Repository.
This is a Research Spotlight Event.
Location: Centre for Newfoundland Studies, Queen Elizabeth II Library, St. John's campus
Date and Time: Wednesday, Mar. 25 at 01:00 PM - 02:00 PM (NDT)
