Students receive national awards

Students in the School of Pharmacy received a number of awards at Professional Development Week (PDW) 2015 - a national conference for pharmacy students, held in Quebec City from Jan. 7-10.

The event provides an opportunity for students to meet peers from across the country, hear inspiring speakers, and network with industry professionals.

The Closing Gala was an exciting night for Memorial's pharmacy students. The small cohort walked away with four awards:

Award of Professionalism, 3rd place - CAPSI Memorial University

Compounding Competition, 2nd place - Jennifer Voisey, Emily King, Erin Beresford, Michelle Fazio

Over-the-Counter Competition, 3rd place - Nicole MacDonald

The Guy Genest Award - Linda Ou

Congratulations to our well-deserving award recipients!
