Pharmacy 201W (Structured Practice Experience I) is an introductory practice experience after the first year of the undergraduate pharmacy program. The experience consists of a 4-week placement in a community pharmacy under the supervision of a pharmacist preceptor. For many students, it represents their first experience in a pharmacy environment.

It is intended to introduce the student to drug distribution and patient care activities in the pharmacy including the regulatory framework and professional responsibilities surrounding these aspects of pharmacy practice.
