Campaign celebrates commitment, care and compassion

PANL thank you campaign

When COVID-19 pandemic put Newfoundland and Labrador into a province-wide lockdown, the pharmacy community, working on the frontlines, became a lifeline for many, not just as a source for medications and other essentials, but also for compassion and advice, of kindness and connection.

The Pharmacists Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (PANL), with its membership of 1100 pharmacists, pharmacy students and pharmacies across the province, wanted to acknowledge the “tremendous efforts and commitment shown by all pharmacy professionals in NL during the pandemic,” said PANL President Janice Audeau, so they ran a “Thank You” campaign on social media.

Here’s are just a couple of their posts, which appeared this past spring on their Facebook PANL Facebook @pharmacistsnewfoundlandandlabrador and Twitter @PANLupdates pages. You’ll see a few familiar faces!

Well done PANL! Thanks for lifting spirits during challenging times.
