35 Years: Reunion Events + Golf Tournament
This year is a special one—it's been 35 years of exemplary pharmacy education at Memorial University!
And we want to celebrate well. We're planning a few days of fun, connection and learning for our graduates from the classes of 1990-2025 to enjoy.
Please have a look below at the various events we will be hosting from July 17-19, 2025—there'll be something for everyone!
Thursday, July 17: 16th Annual Golf Tournament
Memorial University's annual School of Pharmacy Golf Tournament in support of student learning and initiatives is always a popular event! Let's hope for blue skies above the green on July 17 at GlenDenning Golf Club. As usual, we'll have a variety of on-course contests, as well as a luncheon at the end of the event.
Time: 8:00 am shotgun start!

Friday, July 18: Booze & Botany at Botanical Garden
Have you ever thought about what goes into making your favourite libation? That wine is made from grapes is obvious, right? Of course, it can also be made from various berries. Gin needs juniper berries. Vodka comes from fermented grains or potatoes. And you can’t have cider without fruit, or beer without hops. Or can you? Join us July 18 at 1:00 pm for a fun tasting with a botanical bent, hosted by the Postmaster's Garden Cafe, and then join horticulturists Todd Boland (B.Sc.(Hons.)'89, M.Sc.'95) and Tim Walsh for a stroll in the Garden.
Ticket price: $55 + HST (includes two drinks, appetizers, presentation and tour)

Friday, July 18: Meet & Greet
Let's get together for a fun evening of catching up. Come mingle and reconnect! This is a free event, but registration is necessary for planning purposes.

Friday, July 18: Dancing at Loose Tie

Saturday, July 19: November in July: A Continuing Professional Development Event
Avoid the November scramble and get a jump on your professional development for 2025. Dr Shawn Bugden, dean of the School of Pharmacy, will host a professional development session geared to provide practical updates for your pharmacy practice.
