Join us to apply for your SIN (Social Insurance Number) and MCP (Medical Care Plan), and even open a bank account—all in one convenient location at the IO. Simply bring the required documents with you.   

Please bring the following ORIGINAL documents:

• Passport and
• Study permit (with remarks stating “May work…” or “May accept employment…”)
• Open work permit for spouse/partners (only if applicable)
• Application form (available at site) 
  

For MCP application: 

Please bring physical PHOTOCOPIES of all required documents. This is very important—without them, your application may not be completed during the clinic, and you could experience delays.   

• Passport, 
• Study Permit,
• Enrollment Verification Letter, and
• Application form (available at site)

To open a bank account:

• A valid piece of government issued photo ID (e.g. your passport)
• Study/work permit 
• Access to a device with email to receive the e-sign package
