Research Interests: David’s research focuses on factors that help or hinder the teaching of technology education in the Newfoundland context, makerspaces and their potential impact on the design of K-12 learning environments, digital game-based learning, technology enhanced learning environments, expertise, and the development of technical skills and pedagogical content knowledge.
