Limitless Leadership Program
Empowering Emerging Women Leaders
While many individuals possess natural leadership qualities, not all have the opportunity or support to step into leadership roles. Women often excel in senior positions but remain underrepresented in leadership across sectors. By fostering leadership in women, we can unlock untapped potential that will drive innovation, resilience, and socio-economic growth in Newfoundland and Labrador—and beyond.
To support this vision, Memorial University launched Limitless Leadership. This accelerated cocurricular program is designed for high-potential undergraduate women begin their leadership journeys with confidence and positivity.
This award-winning initiative (recipient of the 2025 Innovation Award by the Canadian Association for College and University Student Services) helps participants strengthen their leadership foundations through:
- Interactive workshops focused on leadership development
- One-to-one coaching to support personal growth
- Professional networking with mentors and peers
- A cornerstone leadership project to apply learning in a meaningful way
Limitless Leadership empowers emerging leaders to build on their strengths, develop new skills, and adopt strategies that maximize their impact. Participants will explore the dynamics that can influence leadership pathways and learn how to navigate challenges with clarity and resilience.
Spanning the Fall and Winter Semesters, the program is open to a maximum of 20 undergraduate women. All activities will be documented in each student’s MORE (Memorial’s Online Record of Experience), providing a valuable record of their leadership journey.
For students: This is a unique opportunity to invest in your leadership potential, build your professional network, and connect with a community of like-minded peers.
For faculty: Please consider encouraging students who show promise and initiative to apply or by submitting a nomination package on their behalf. Your support can make a lasting impact on their development.
