Counselling services for out-of-country international students
Memorial’s Student Wellness and Counselling Centre (SWCC) is pleased to launch keep.meSAFE, an external counselling service for current international students who live outside Canada and cannot access such services due to jurisdictional practice restrictions. The keep.meSAFE service allows students to connect with a trained, certified counsellor wherever they are in the world through telephone, text, video-conferencing and, when appropriate, in-person sessions.
Memorial international students located outside Canada at this time will be automatically eligible and can access the program directly using the information attached.
Students with questions about the program can contact email@example.com. *The services are offered for a two-month pilot period effective April 1, 2021.

Q. I see that video call and in-person support sessions are possible through keep.meSAFE. How do I request this?
A. Call the keep.meSAFE service through the number provided to arrange any appointment based (video or in-person) support sessions.
Q. The phone number provided is not toll free, how do I avoid long distance charges?
A. The app notes that calls can be placed collect, or you can request a callback as soon as you make contact to avoid incurring long distance charges.
Q. What if I need more help navigating the app or need more guidance on how to access the service?
A. The Guard Me Campus Ambassadors for MUN can be contacted for further guidance. The program recommends that students follow MUN's ambassadors on instagram, so you can send them a DM if you have other questions here.
