Using real-world examples and practical checklists, you will learn how to identify where barriers exist in your current process, apply disability confident recruitment frameworks, write accessible job postings, and select platforms that work for candidates using assistive technology.

What you will come away from the session with:

• An understanding of four common barriers people with disabilities encounter during recruitment and how to address them.
• At least two disability confident recruitment frameworks you can apply to your hiring process, including the First Shot Strategy and the Guaranteed Interview Policy.
• A checklist for writing accessible job postings and guidance on selecting recruitment platforms that align with WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards.
