DUTIES
Reporting to the Academic Program Administrator, Discipline of Family Medicine, the successful applicant will be required to perform moderately difficult and varied clerical work involving some independent judgment for the Family Medicine Residency Training Office. Duties include organizing core Family Medicine training programs and yearly resident orientation; preparing letters for residency licensure and promotion; maintaining resident binders/portfolios; printing In-training Assessment Reports (ITARS); updating documents, handbooks, One45 and webpages; supporting various committees in organizing meetings, preparing materials, recording, composing and distributing minutes and conducting necessary follow-up; assisting with program accreditation; providing administrative and clerical support to the Residency Program Director and other faculty and staff within the Discipline; preparing schedules; assisting with travel requests and claims; preparing internal requisitions, catering pre-approvals, and other financial documents; distributing mail; responding to telephone and email inquiries; preparing documents and various types of correspondence; editing and distributing policies and guidelines; maintaining filing systems; photocopying; and performing other related duties as required. This position will also provide support to the Family Medicine Enhanced Skills Programs and the Undergraduate Program, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (1-3 years) in moderately difficult and varied administrative/clerical work; graduation from high school supplemented by a two-year office administration program; or any equivalent combination of experience and training are required. Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as experience with minute-taking is required. Knowledge of Desire2Learn, One45 software and Memorial policies and procedures would be considered assets. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills.
SALARY $47,057 – 55,196 per annum (CUPE Local 1615)
