Network Maintenance – Faculty of Medicine 4th, 5th and 6th floors Sunday 12th July 2026
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) advises on network maintenance impacting part of the following floors of the Faculty of Medicine building. Between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. there will be maintenance impacting wired wall plates beginning with “ME4.1-“, “ME5.1-“, and “ME6.1-“ and MUN wireless on the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors. During this time there will be prolonged network outages to wired and wireless in the area, including VoIP telephony. Connectivity will return automatically after the work is completed. Between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. there will be maintenance impacting wired wall plates beginning with “ME2.1-“and MUN wireless on the 2nd floor. During this time there will be prolonged network outages to wired and wireless in the area, including VoIP telephony. Connectivity will return automatically after the work is completed. Google Workspace Notice
You may see a message in Google Workspace (shown below) about transferring your content after graduation. It says, "Graduating soon? Keep all your emails and other files after you graduate”.
This message is generated by Google and is not controlled by the university.

Clicking the “Graduating Soon” notice in Gmail will safely open a prompt designed to help you back up your files and migrate your school data. It will not delete your account. The tool simply provides options to transfer your emails, photos, and Google Drive files to a personal account.
