Chem 2301 ~ Thermodynamics and Kinetics

NOTE: All course material will be relayed through the D2L/Brightspace. 

Recommended Text(s): “Thermodynamics, Statistical Thermodynamics and Kinetics” Engel & Reid 4th (or 3rd) Edition OR “Physical Chemistry” Engel & Reid 3rd Edition (‘Mastering in Chemistry’ will not be used in this course.) 

Office Hours: By appointment only. Be sure to suggest two to three dates and times you are available that I can check against my schedule. 

Prerequisites: Science 1807 and 1808; minimum 60% in CHEM 1051 (or CHEM 1001 or the former CHEM 1031), Mathematics 1001 and Physics 1051 or Physics 1021

Lecture times: 12:00 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. (Tues., Thurs.)  1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Fri.)

Prerequisites: Chem 3110 (>60%) or equivalent
