Retirement Planning Seminar
The Department of Human Resources is offering a retirement planning seminar for the St. John's and Marine Institute campuses on Wednesday, Feb.24, 2016.
Topics of discussion will include the Memorial University Pension Plan, retiree group benefits, the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security benefits, financial planning, and retiree support through the Memorial University Pensioners' Association. Employees at any stage in their career who are interested in learning more about retirement planning are invited and spouses are welcome.
The seminar will take place in the Engineering Building lecture theatre (EN-2006) from 9:15 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Individuals requiring parking can avail of meters on campus or use pay and display parking. Refreshments will be provided during session breaks; however, lunch will be on your own. Registration is required and will be accepted on a first-come basis by completing the online registration form at http://www.mun.ca/hr/pension/registration/. Registration will be confirmed by e-mail.
