Public sector compensation disclosure

As per the Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act, the provincial government will publish an annual list of total compensation information for employees of public bodies making greater than $100,000 annually.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the date of publishing the list was changed from “before July 1, 2020” to “before Dec. 1, 2020”.

Memorial employees are reminded to review their 2019 T4s in anticipation that their compensation information may be released if they received more than $100,000 in total compensation in 2019. T4s are available for viewing and download via the Employee Self Service tab of my.mun.ca.

An email will be sent to all employees on or before Aug. 28, 2020, regarding details of the salary disclosure.

Compensation disclosure information including a frequently asked questions document and the exemption policy and process can be found via links on the bottom of the following page: https://www.exec.gov.nl.ca/exec/hrs/compensation_disclosure/index.html.
