Medavie Blue Cross direct deposit

Memorial employees are advised that Medavie Blue Cross now offers instant access to claims information (also called Explanation of Benefits) on their Medavie Mobile app and at medavie.bluecross.ca. As a result, starting in November, the company will discontinue the mailing of explanation of benefits (EOB) statements to plan members who receive reimbursement by direct deposit. However, members who receive reimbursement by cheque in the mail will continue to receive an accompanying EOB statement. 

To access an EOB using the Medavie mobile app, just download and open the app, hit “My Claims” and select the claim you want to view. If you need your statement, simply take a screenshot and print a copy. If you wish to access an EOB via the online member site, you will need to sign up or log in at medavie.bluecross.ca, click “Statements” and choose the claim you want to view or print.
