The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) advises on planned network maintenance on the St. John’s campus which will impact connections to the following locations:

• Ocean Sciences Center
• Botanical Gardens
• Biology Annex and Vivarium
• Signal Hill Campus including the Geo Center and The Battery Facility (MUNet and residence networks)
• Southcott Hall and the Miller Center
• ACORN-NL connections
• Marine Institute

The maintenance is planned for Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2026 between 12-2 a.m. During this time there will be outages to the network. This includes wired network access to St. John’s Campus and the internet, and VoIP telephony. Also, the wireless networks: @Memorial, @Memorial-Guest, @MemorialRES, @MemorialRES-Guest, and eduroam.
