Scholarships
The Dean’s Scholarship for Academic Excellence in Data Science recognizes exemplary performance in the Master of Data Science program.
Award
Two scholarships are awarded annually in the Spring term. The highest-ranked eligible student receives $2,000, and the second highest-ranked student receives $1,500.
Eligibility
Only students enrolled in the Master of Data Science program are eligible. The scholarships are open to domestic and international students.
Students must have completed all five of the core courses listed below within the first two terms of the program:
- DSCI 6601
- DSCI 6602
- DSCI 6607
- DSCI 6619
- DSCI 6659
No application is required. Eligible students are automatically considered for the scholarship.
Criteria
Eligible students are ranked according to their overall average across the five core DSCI courses listed above. The scholarships are awarded to the two students with the highest averages.
