The Faculty Council is an organization made up of all the faculty members in the Faculty of Science, as well as other interested parties such as student delegates and representatives from other Academic Councils.

The function of the Council of the Faculty of Science is to approve, for recommendation to the Senate, all regulations, courses and programmes of study of the Faculty of Science and to discuss and make recommendations on any other matter affecting the academic life and development of the Faculty of Science.

The Faculty of Science holds regular Faculty Council meetings at 1 p.m. on the third Wednesday of selected months.
