The administrator account username you would have received from the OCIO is “!” followed by your own username. For example, jdoe's admin username would be !jdoe. 

 Passwords for these accounts are good for 90 days. When you need to change your password:  

1. Open a terminal window. Press command + spacebar then type “Terminal” and press enter, 
2. Once in terminal, type the following command: passwd \!username (username will be your username) then press enter, 
3. It will now ask you for your old password, type it in then press enter, 
4. Now you need to enter your new password(It must be 14 characters or more; numbers and special characters are recommended) then press enter, 
5. Enter your new password one more time and press enter.
