In this evocative collection, multi-Juno award winning pianist and composer David Braid weaves "musical DNA" of Central Asian melodies—absorbed during his immersive collaborations from 2018 to 2026—into the sophisticated framework of contemporary chamber music. Joining him will be cellist Vernon Regehr, violinist Bailey Wantuch, violist Kate Read, and clarinetist Christine Carter.
