- COVID-19 Update (September 2020)
- A reminder that teaching and learning will take place in a primarily remote and online teaching and learning environment in fall 2020: https://www.mun.ca/covid19. Students are not expected to travel to Newfoundland and Labrador to complete their studies.
- The Internationalization Office continues to provide supports to students admitted to Memorial for the fall 2020 and winter 2021 semesters, including those who will be studying remotely (the majority of students) and those who may need to travel to Newfoundland and Labrador to complete their studies due to extraordinary circumstances. We are prepared for the arrival and support of new students, and have been in regular contact, providing advice on specific circumstances and issues related to travel to Canada at this time. If you have any questions or concerns about Arrivals for the fall 2020 term please email: international@mun.ca.
- IO Live Chat Service (September 2020)
- The Internationalization Office has implemented a new Live Chat feature where you can speak with a member of our student staff live, 5 days a week: Monday-Friday, 10am - 3pm (Newfoundland Time). Feel free to access this service at your convenience.

We hope you are doing well under the circumstances. In light of COVID 19: - IO staff are providing our critical support for international students remotely.
- Working remotely means we will be supporting you using emails and other social media platforms including facebook messenger, skype and Zoom.
- You can book appointment with immigration advisors using the Navigate App. If you are having difficulty in booking appointment please email Arif Abu at aabu@mun.ca
If you have any questions regarding your health insurance then please email international@mun.ca

International Offices at Memorial University
- The English as a Second Language Unit provides English Courses and a bridging program. ESL courses also run at Grenfell Campus.
- The Office of Student Recruitment completes a wide range of recruitment and outreach activities to Canadian and international prospective undergraduate students.
- Grenfell Campus attracts international students to its unique programs.
- The Faculty of Business Administration has its own International Programs Office.
- Marine Institute International manages a significant number of projects internationally.
- The School of Graduate Studies administers all master's and doctoral programs at Memorial and facilitates international research collaboration, joint programs, joint supervision and short-term visits.
