Development & Leadership Opportunities

Student Life offers programs, events, resources and other opportunities for student leadership development year-round.
What is "leadership"?

Leadership has many definitions. Often, people see leadership as a trait possessed by individuals who can motivate and organize groups of people – but this is only one approach. Leadership can also be practiced through service (such as through helping your fellow students or other organizations), entrepreneurship, activism, governance and much more.

The key takeaway is this: leadership happens when you take action, especially when that action benefits the world around you.

We practice leadership in different ways, for different purposes and that's okay. This means that no one's a leader all of the time, but everyone's a leader some of the time.

Student Life offers programming to support all students in their leadership pursuits.
