School honours newest Professional Associates

Congratulations to our newest Professional Associates!

Carolyn Bruss, Raylene Noftall and Richard Lamb were honoured at the third annual Field Education Recognition Breakfast at Memorial's Signal Hill Campus.

Social workers who serve as field instructors have the opportunity to be appointed as Professional Associates with Memorial University. Professional Associates are recognized and receive a certificate at the annual October Field Education Recognition event, highlighted on the school’s website, and invited to School of Social Work Signature Events.

This three-year, renewable appointment enables field instructors to access the university’s library resources, which will support them in their contribution to the professional and educational development of social work students.

Instituted in 2018, our first Professional Associates of the School of Social Work were:

Lenora Barry
Major Marlene George
Tana Green
Ivy Lundrigan
Karen Pennell
Lynsey Soper-Thistle

Congratulations to Carolyn, Raylene and Richard on joining this list!
