March is National Social Work Month

The theme this year is: Bringing change to life, something we aspire to here at Memorial's School of Social Work, as we share our knowledge with the social workers of the future.

National Social Work Month recognizes the contribution social workers make to society. Whether working with children, youth or seniors, or within the areas of healthcare, addictions or corrections, or in community centres or government departments, or self-employed, to name just a few, social workers strive every day to help improve the health and well-being of individuals, groups, families and communities - to bring change to life.
