Congratulations to our graduate students!

The 2018 Fall Convocation at Memorial University included 14 MSW (Master of Social Work) and two PhD (Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work) graduates from the School of Social Work. Some graduates are from Newfoundland and Labrador; others are Newfoundlanders relocated to other provinces and some from other provinces chose to study at Memorial.

Three of the MSWs, Catherine Hyland, Tia Morris and Loriann Pilgrim Greening, as well as PhD graduate student Debashis Dutta received the distinction of Fellow of the School of Graduate Studies, awarded in recognition of outstanding academic achievement throughout a graduate program.

Serena Lewis, MSW was awarded the Wesley and Jeanne Drodge Award in Public Policy for demonstrating the value of collaboration in health and social sciences to advance public policy.
