Interim dean Maureen Volk recently received a cheque for $3,000 from Jazz East (Keith Pike, Manager) and the Gower Community Band (Edsel Bonnell, Director, and David Robbins, General Manager). The contribution represented the returns from a special benefit concert for the Kjellrun Hestekin Memorial Fund on Valentine's Day, 2016, by Jazz East and the GCB.
