On Thursday April 23, from 12:01AM to 2:00AM the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) will be carrying out maintenance on Memorial’s VoIP telephone system. This maintenance will cause two short interruptions in the availability of telephones while they connect to a secondary server. This will affect phones at the St. John’s and Signal Hill campuses, off campus sites in the St. John’s area, and Faculty of Nursing sites in Gander, Grand Falls-Windsor, and Happy Valley-Goose Bay. This work will not affect telephone services at the Marine Institute, Grenfell campus, Labrador campus, or Harlow campus. The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) advises on routine network maintenance impacting the following buildings on Tuesday, April 28th, beginning at 10:30 AM.

Cartier
Cabot
Baltimore
There will be an approximately 10 minute outage for each of the buildings above to facilitate necessary network reconfigurations. During this time, the following network services in each building will be affected:
- Honeywell services
- Security Cameras
- Card Access (adding/modifying user access). Card access to doors will continue to function
During the regular maintenance window on Wednesday, April 29th from 00:00 - 02:00 AM, the same network reconfiguration will be made to the Global Learning Centre. The following network services will be affected during this maintenance window
- Endpoint network connections (desktops, laptops, phones, printers, etc.)
- Wireless service
- Honeywell services
- Security Cameras
- Card Access (adding/modifying user access). Card access to doors will continue to function

Please note that the Document Manager service (docs.mun.ca) has reached retirement, and as a result, new sites will not be provisioned moving forward.
Alternate storage areas are available to support your needs, such as OneDrive and Teams sites.
