Login and password reset issues

There may be a cache issue with your browser which may be preventing you from successfully logging into the portal. The easiest way to bypass this error is opening a "private browsing window". This should allow you to open the webpage without using a previous cached version.

Your account may also be locked due to inactivity. If you do not sign in at least once over a 9 month period your account will auto-lock. Contact the IT Service Desk to request that your account be unlocked. To ensure your account doesn't auto-lock, sign in every now and then to keep your account active.

It is important that you sign out of your account. In the upper right corner of the My Account screen your will see your username, click on it and select Sign Out. Otherwise, your account will time out which creates some of the issues.

On the Sign In screen, just below the password box click on Forgot your password? You will be prompted to input your email address to have a reset email sent.

The easiest way to bypass this error is opening a "private browsing window". Once you've opened a private window, proceed to the "Forgot Password" page, enter your email and click "Send email".

Account creation support

Start your application process by creating an account with Memorial University. Provide the required personal information as indicated by an * on the form and then click Create Account.

Your entry term is the year you plan to start at Memorial University plus the semester. The winter semester begins in January, the spring semester begins in May and the fall semester begins in September. Therefore, if you plan to start at Memorial in September 2024 your entry term would be "2024 Fall (September)".

If applying to undergraduate medicine, the entry term is the following fall. For example, if you are completing your application in August 2023, your entry term would be "2024 Medicine". 

Application support

Before you start an application, ensure you have clicked the activation link in the account creation confirmation email.

From the My Account screen, click "Create a New Application" in the "My Applications" section.
