Math criteria chart
The following charts outline the requirements for first-year courses in mathematics at their respected campus.
The Math Placement Test (MPT) will be administered on campus in early September. The Calculus Placement Test (CPT) is administered at a variety of locations across Newfoundland and Labrador in June and will be administered on campus in early September.
You may see an MPT or MPT Self-Assessment Tool show up in your Brightspace courses. This is a tool for new students to help them decide if they are in the best course. Please read the announcements in the course shell for more information.
