March 31 deadline to nominate Memorial alumni for Board of Regents
The Memorial University alumni body will elect six individuals from its ranks to sit on the Board of Regents, Memorial’s governing body. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, March 31, 2017, at 5 p.m. (NST).
The Board of Regents oversees the management, administration and control of university's property, revenue, business affairs. Memorial’s special commitment to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador extends that contribution far beyond the buildings and campuses that define the university’s physical boundaries. Alumni representatives who are elected will serve a three-year term beginning Sept. 1, 2017.
