Nov. 30 deadline to apply for University Research Professor

The title University Research Professor is a designation above the rank of professor and goes to a faculty member who has demonstrated a consistently high level of scholarship and whose research is of a truly international stature. The title is a lifetime designation, which includes an unrestricted research grant of $4,000 annually for five years and a reduced teaching schedule.

The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30.

Candidates must have a substantially superior and sustained academic record at the rank of full professor, and have demonstrated a consistently high level of scholarship in their field, including graduate student supervision and other mentoring activities.
