Entrepreneurship Training for Graduate Students

Memorial’s ETP aims to help grad students develop the core skills and knowledge needed to start a business. Through 16 weeks of interactive workshops led by award-winning faculty and entrepreneurs, you will be connected to local mentors, funding sources and other essential resources.

ETP sessions are scheduled on campus for two hours a week, and cover a broad range of themes that will provide you with an introduction to everything business. You will be given resources and time to apply these skills during the workshops, as well as through additional networking opportunities that will be organized outside of the regular ETP sessions. If you attend all the weekly ETP sessions, you will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the program to formalize your training.

To apply, you must:

  • Be registered as a full-time graduate student at Memorial for the Fall 2017 semester and be returning as a full-time graduate student in the Winter 2018 semester.
  • Fully complete an application form between Wednesday, September 6, 2017 and will close Monday, September 18, 2017 at 9:00 AM NST.
  • Be available Wednesdays from 10am-12pm or 2pm-4pm (for weekly workshops).
