Each singer participating in MUN Song Academy should prepare 3 songs from classical repertoire. Selections from this list will be worked and performed in master class and performances during the week.

Repertoire must include at least one song in a foreign language. One music theatre selection is also permitted.

Consent / Waiver

Please submit an MP3 audio recording of one art song selection. We ask you to submit a recording with your application so that our Song Academy faculty can get to know you as a singer. This allows them to develop a personalized program that suits your unique musical needs.

This program has limited enrollment. Late registration may be considered if space permits.

The information on this form is collected under the authority of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015 (SNL2015 Chapter A-1.2) and will be used to process your application for the Memorial University School of Music Song Academy. Information collected may also be used to distribute Memorial University School of Music Program information, provided you have given consent to receive same. Information collected shall be kept and/or used for a period of one year, following which it will be destroyed.
