Chamber Music for Youth Program
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on university operations, MUN’s Youth Chamber Music Program will not be taking place this fall 2020 semester.
Chamber Music for Youth gives young people ages 9 to 18 the opportunity to make music in small groups. Our students are coached by MUN School of Music faculty and leading professional musicians from the community. In addition to improving their musical skills, chamber music helps young people learn independence and collaboration. Our program also connects students with like-minded friends and mentors.
Chamber Music for Youth is an 11-week program that takes place in the fall and winter semesters. Groups meet with their coaches for one hour on Sunday afternoons. Groups meet with their coaches for one hour on Sunday afternoons. All events take place at the MUN School of Music.
