Note: This group, like all MUNPA groups, is only open to MUNPA members and their spouse/partner.

The MUNPA Memoir Group draws together MUNPA members to share their memories, from their childhood up to last week. We do not offer a critique of each member’s reading, preferring to share our observations, often through memories that the reading has triggered.   We have been meeting on Zoom on a regular basis since 2020. All are welcome. 

Two members of the MUNPA Memoir Group, Stephen Riggins and Roberta Buchanan, have compiled a collection of memoirs about Memorial University. Many were contributed by the Memoir Group.  The collection ranges widely over the amazing expansion of the small Memorial University College into a fully-fledged “multiversity” and has been published by ISER Books, (now known as Memorial University Press), titled The Creation of a University: The Newfoundland Experience.
