 Career Fair Prep Session

Are you a science student attending the SummerFair on September.23rd, 2015? If so, science students are welcome to attend a Career Fair Prep Session to gain more knowledge on how to best market your skills and experiences to employers/ exhibitors at the event! Come learn about the "DO's and DON'T's" at Career Fairs and other networking events.

Ready, Set Connect: A Science Career Networking Event

Science students will have an opportunity to practice pitching their skills and experiences to employers from various companies in the science field. During the event, groups of students and participating employers/ recruiters will be matched up at tables and get acquainted. The students will move to another table approximately every 10 minutes to meet another employer(s) at the next table until all students have met all employers.

Science Career Talks

On Wednesday, August.9th, 2017 there will be a Biology Career Talk for science students/ graduates whereby biology alumni will speak about what career path they have pursued and how they navigated their job search with a biology background. Since between 75-85% of jobs are not advertised, networking often plays a major role in how graduates find a career that fits their interests and values.

Science Career Consultations

All science students are welcome to book a Career Planning Consultation with Kristen Roberts, Science Career Development Cooridinator. These appointments can help you develop career goals and learn more about where your science degree can take you. Other apppointments include resume critiques, mock interviews and job search consults. Appointments are booked through the My MUNLife portal in
