Visit the Garden
Located in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Memorial University of Newfoundland Botanical Garden is the province's premier botanical garden.
We have: Five NATURE TRAILS, a large CULTIVATED GARDEN AREA, and a greenhouse are incorporated into the 100-acre nature reserve.
The Field Centre houses the GIFT SHOP, which displays local crafts, gardening books, and other giftware; the GARDEN CAFE, which serves delectable lunches and treats; several different ART SHOWS throughout the season.
Devoted to RESEARCHand EDUCATION, the Garden has been developed to display plants native to the province and cultivated plants suitable to the local climate and to provide access to a number of habitats through a system of trails.
Come, explore, and discover all that MUN Botanical Garden has to offer.
Due to Memorial University’s social distancing regulations, we are not able to offer group tours at this time. However, if you would like to bring your group to the Garden for a self-guided walk, we have a group admission rate of $5 per person and, this summer, we are debuting our new, free audio tour, which you can listen to on any device with data and a browser.
Thank you for your understanding. Stay safe!
