During July and August, we are open Thursday evenings until 8:00pm for the special opportunity to see the Garden "after hours." See for yourself the magical quality the gardens and trails take on in the evening, and don't miss the chance to see the garden in a new light. Literally!

Music in the Garden

Twilight Thursdays for 2025 will feature a special offering - Music in the Garden. This series will showcase a variety of Memorial students, staff, and alumni and their musical talents. Performances will take place in the central courtyard of the Garden, near the Alpine House, from 5:30-7:30pm. Come in and enjoy this special addition to the evening experience, discover new talents, and bathe in the beauty of nature and acoustic music. This musical entertainment is included as a bonus experience with regular admission.

Kayaking

Also, during Twilight Thursdays, you can rent our kayaks for a paddle on Oxen Pond. Rentals start on the hour, at 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, and 7:00pm. Single kayaks can be rented for $10/hr and tandems can be rented for $15/hr. General admission, pass holder discounts, and taxes apply.
