Snowshoeing is back at the Botanical Garden!
Let nature nurture you this winter as you trek along our trails, enjoying the fresh air and beauty all around you. Check out the animal tracks in the snow. Listen to hear the calls of our resident winter birds. Embrace the winter weather and stay active!
Our snowshoe season will run from January - March, as conditions permit.

Open for 2026 Season Pass holders and Memorial University students only.

We have sizes 17-36 available to rent.
Prices include HST.
All snowshoe days are weather and snow conditions dependent. Feel free to call ahead at 709-864-8590 if you would like to confirm we are open.
Please note that access to the trails is by snowshoe only. Walking on the trails without snowshoes destroys the trail surface and creates dangerous conditions for others. The cultivated garden area is not accessible in winter.
