Fall is an ideal time for planting, as the soil has been warming since spring and the Biannual Friends of the Garden Plant Sale is just around the corner!

Keep an eye out for:

• 60 + varieties of alpine plants, many of which are quite rare and specific to NL
• numerous heaths and heathers
• Rhododendrons
• Ferns
• Perennials
• Shrubs
• a limited number of troughs
• Magnolias
• And, new this season, Trees such as Red cedar, English oak, Laburnums to name a few
• 2026 Fall FOG Plant Sale Inventory(Not including a growing list of trees!)

There will be experts on hand to provide advice for gardeners with questions.

FOG has also arranged for a Bonsai demonstration, delivered by Bonsai expert George Jarvis, which will be happening at 10 am onsite at the sale!

Things to note:

• This is a cashless sale - volunteers will have a card processor on site
• Please bring your own tote bags or boxes
