PhD student Catherine Jalbert wins the CAA Daniel Weetaluktuk Award

Congratulations to PhD student Catherine Jalbert who has been awarded the Daniel Weetaluktuk Award from the Canadian Archaeology Association (2018) for the best graduate student research paper!

Catherine's research examines the working conditions of men and women in archaeology in Canada, with a particular focus on equity issues for women in contemporary archaeological practice. Her paper, "Is Archaeology for Me? An Examination of Narrative Accounts from Women in the Discipline" was presented at the 2018 CAA/ACA conference in Winnipe
