Economics (Master)

The Master of Arts in Economics program at Memorial University offers a co-operative internship option for students. 

Students in this program study topics including:

• economic theory
• quantitative methods
• taxation
• environmental & resource economics
• labour & industrial economics
• econometrics
• health economics

The program equips students for opportunities in government, industry and the not-for-profit sector.

Internship Schedule

Students complete one 12 to 16 week full-time, paid, co-operative internship with an employer. The co-operative internships typically take place in the summer term after students have completed all required coursework.
