Distribution List Request
A distribution list is a collection of email addresses grouped under a single name, allowing a user to send an email to multiple recipients at once without having to enter each address individually.
To request a distribution list, email the OCIO Service Desk - help@mun.ca with the following information:
- Preferred distribution list name: preferredname@mun.ca
- The name will be appended using our naming convention: DEPT-D-name
- The name will be appended using our naming convention: DEPT-D-name
- Backup distribution list name: backupname@mun.ca
- Distribution list display name
- Owner's MUN Login ID
- Description and purpose of list
- Will this group have members who are not Memorial faculty or staff? Yes / No
- Will this group be used to interact with people who do not have an @mun email address? Yes / No
- Description of the type of information anticipated being shared in this group:
- Highly Sensitive (Briefing Notes, Information from other jurisdictions, Highly Sensitive research data, Personal Health Information)
- Sensitive (Financial information/history of Memorial or other individuals, Banking, Donor, HR Records, SIN, MCP, Search Committees, Confidentiality clause under Law or contract, Internal briefing notes, credit card, research data)
- Internal - (Basic contact information (personal or business) Teaching Materials, Personal or other information with minimal or low impact from disclosure)
- Public - (Public Information, Published marketing material/press releases, no impact from unauthorized access or disclosure
- Highly Sensitive (Briefing Notes, Information from other jurisdictions, Highly Sensitive research data, Personal Health Information)
