Training and user support

Web Content Services offers workshops and training in a number of areas to help build and maintain websites that are on brand and in line with the latest trends and web best practices. We work with units to determine target audiences, key messages and user-centric navigation.

Web content management system training and support

Websites on mun.ca are currently managed using Site Builder, Memorial’s do-it-yourself in-house web content management system (CMS), developed by Marketing and Communications and Information Technology Services. Training is required for those who will be responsible for managing and updating a Memorial website. Please register for training to reserve your seat in the next session.

If you're currently managing a Memorial website and need some additional support, please visit the Site Builder User Guide or stop by a drop-in clinic.

Writing for the web

Designing your writing for the web can help maintain reader interest in a digital environment and improve the visibility and quality of content on websites. Here are some web writing tips to help you get started. To learn more about writing for the web, please sign up for our advanced Site Builder training.

Content planning and development

How often someone visits (and returns to) your website is directly influenced by site structure, searchability, design and content. If you’re building a new website or considering updating one, contact us to schedule a content clustering session or to access tools and resources that will help you review, plan, build and maintain web content.
