Word and PowerPoint Templates

Instructions on how to use the marketing templates found listed below are provided in the Templates Tips & Tricks Reference Guide. Please adhere to brand standards, style guide, colour palette, publications policy and printing policy when preparing university marketing materials.

Use of these templates requires proficiency in Word and PowerPoint. Free training is available to students, faculty and staff through The Commons located on the main floor of the QEII Library.

Brochure
Trifold brochure templates are available in Microsoft Word with a variety of text and photography options over two pages.

Certificate
Certificate templates are available in Microsoft Word and include fields for inputting names, descriptions and dates as required.

Email Signature
Email signature templates are available as Microsoft Word documents that are ready to copy and paste into your email program.

  • Three different versions available:
    • Standard
    • Short
    • Long

Newsletter
Newsletter templates are available in Microsoft Word with a variety of text and photography options. This is a two-column, multi-page format - you may insert as many pages as you need to accommodate your content.

Poster
Letter-sized and Tabloid-sized poster templates are available in Microsoft Word. A variety of text styles and photography options are available in both sizes.

PowerPoint
Two styles of presentations are available in Microsoft Powerpoint. Both versions offer a wide variety of slide layouts and colour options.

    • Main (for general use)

  • Pop: Single presentation with eight colour slide options

Program
Event program templates are available in Microsoft Word with a variety of text and photography options over two pages.

Screen Display
Three different sizes of display templates are available in Microsoft Powerpoint. These single slides can be saved as JPG files for use on display screen across the university campuses. A variety of text styles and photography options are available in all sizes.
